● This is one of the first pictures where Dali shows what will be his contribution to the surrealist movement. Using the acquired abilities, meticulously painted the results of a non-censored imagination. In relation with the subject, it seemed that in his liberation the role of his father is the most important of all. Salvador received from his father support and unconditional understanding until it was evident… in his ambition, Dali was ready to defy to the authority of his own father. The painter left us plenty of evidence on how difficult and traumatic his father’s distantness was for him.

● Es uno de los primeros cuadros donde Dalí muestra lo que será su aporte al movimiento surrealista. Utilizando las habilidades adquiridas, pinta en forma muy detallada los resultados de una imaginación libre de censura. En cuanto al tema, pareciera que en esa liberación la figura de su padre es la más importante. Salvador obtuvo de su padre un apoyo y una compresión incondicional hasta que resultó evidente, que en su ambición, Dalí estaba dispuesto a desafiar a la autoridad de su padre. El pintor nos dejó evidencias sobre lo difícil y traumático que resultó para él, el distanciamiento de su padre.
