| ● Jean Francois Millet (1814 - 1875) was born on a farm near Cherbourg. Went to Paris to study at the Beaux-Arts under Paul Delaroche. Worked on subjects from the rustic life of peasants and farm laborers. Millet's realistic approach to peasant subjects had an important influence upon later artists and very particularly upon Van Cogh and Salvador Dalí. | ● Jean Francois Millet (1814 - 1875) Nació en una granja cerca de Cherbourg. Fue a la escuela de Bellas Artes en Paris con Paul Delaroche. Trabajó temas extraídos de la vida rural de los pueblerinos y de los trabajadores del campo.
